Recapping June’s Mingle & Meditate Event: CBD, Spiritual Connection, and More!

Let’s face it – sometimes we need a break. Between family obligations, work, and heavy traffic, we just need time to embrace peace. This is what we aim to do at our Mingle & Meditate events, which are led by Baked Goods and Be.Soul.Natural.

As we wrote awhile back in our postCan you meditate with CBD?”, taking CBD prior to a meditation may be constructive for improving focus. For some people, reaching a calming state is difficult due to fluttering thoughts. As CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system – which naturally supports balance between bodily functions – it can help foster inner tranquillity for mindfulness activities.

On June 21st, we hosted our second CBD meditation event. We had repeat and new participants attend to destress and calm down ‘inner chatter’. “The goal of this event was to have the ladies have a deeper connection with themselves for self-discovery, and to show them how beneficial meditation can be,” confirmed Sandy Venditti, Reiki Practitioner, guided meditation leader, and owner of Be.Soul.Natural.

The afternoon kicked off with sampling various CBD treats, including infused chocolates and peanut butter protein balls. Then Sandy led a guided meditation that introduced a new concept to our meditators: spirit animals! “Connecting with your spirit animal can be very symbolic [for self-reflection], as chances are people may have similar inner traits and instincts as their spirit animal. This can result in helping an individual connect with their deeper self and intuition,” explained Sandy.

The guided meditation lasted for 20 minutes and provided our lovely ladies with a glimpse into mindfulness with CBD. “In my observation during and after the meditation, I witnessed them move into a much more relaxed and stress-free energy,” Sandy noticed.

After the meditation was over, attendees privately shopped for candles, incense, natural topicals, bath bombs, and more. Check out our photo gallery below!
