Can you use CBD for golf? Baked Goods answers

Have you noticed new elbow or hip pain from playing golf? Or have you formed chronic back pain from swinging a golf club?

If you suspect this sport has been causing you aches, CBD may help promote pain relief and potentially improve focus on your game. According to GOLF magazine, “CBD is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the golf space, and with each day that passes it feels as though CBD’s influence on the sport grows.”

So how can cannabidiol help golfers? Here are some ways:

  • May improve concentration: A low dose of CBD can potentially improve focus. A CBD oil could be handy for morning games as an energizer, especially if you tend to get distracted.
  • Helps reduce inflammation: CBD instinctively combats inflammation. Using a topical before or after a game can help prevent and treat related pain.
  • Promotes muscle recovery: Because it can offer pain relief, CBD may contribute to athletic recovery. Swinging a club can cause tension to different muscle groups; but “… many golfers have found that CBD relieves their muscle or joint discomfort, allowing them to practice and play longer,” confirms Men’s Journal.

If you’re ready to give CBD a try, you should know that medication interactions can occur if you’re on certain over-the-counter/prescription treatments. Please consult a pharmacist or your family doctor to ensure that cannabidiol can be administered with your current health regime.
