Why Consider Baked Goods CBD For Quitting Smoking
Are you on a journey to quit smoking? If so, you may be inspired to use CBD after reading this Baked Goods article!
Quitting smoking can contribute to health benefits – but the process alone can be a challenge! However, CBD may act as a supportive tool for smoking cessation. According to a study by Washington State University scientists, taking CBD may prevent or reduce nicotine absorption in the body. “The team found that several of these enzymes, including CYP2A6 – a major one for nicotine metabolism – were inhibited, leading them to conclude that CBD could curb the urge for a cigarette,” explains Healthline.
CBD may help reduce cravings, inflammation, and anxiety that can come with the quitting process. Here are some Baked Goods CBD products to try for smoking cessation:
- CBD Hard Candies: Pop one in your mouth when you start to feel fidgety or anxious. Relaxing effects may last up to 6 hours.
- CBD/CBN Coconut Oil: Quitting smoking may cause you to lose sleep. This artisanal Baked Goods CBD oil contains CBD and CBN to reap the benefits of the entourage effect.
- CBD Honey: Stir some honey into a cup of tea to reduce tension. One teaspoon of our honey contains 5mg of CBD.
Some people have concerns about using CBD; in particular, that if you quit smoking, you’re replacing one addiction for another. Is this true? The answer is no. Lab studies and the World Health Organization (WHO) have stated that CBD is not a habit-forming substance. It’s still important though to speak to your doctor about using CBD so that medication interactions don’t occur.
