Baked Goods Beginner Guide: How do you use CBD oil for the first time?
Are you new to CBD? Then you may find this article valuable for your CBD journey!
Cannabidiol shows promise in supporting different health benefits, such as improving mood, promoting pain relief, and lessening bouts of seizures. “CBD offers strong anxiety relief relative to THC, soothes pain of arthritis, reduces elevated heart rate, improves insomnia, reduces muscle spasm…[and] promotes lipid and blood-sugar level stabilization…”, confirms The Doctor-Approved Cannabis Handbook by Benjamin Caplan, MD.
Taking CBD oil for the first time may seem difficult, but with guidance, it’s simple! Follow these tips if you’re a beginner user:
- Read the label carefully. Start with the lowest dose possible. Read the label instructions, as it may advise you to try 5-10 drops under your tongue.
- Be patient. After your first dose, wait an hour. If you still don’t feel relief, you can take some additional drops. But add only a few extra drops because you want to see how you respond. The point of this method is to find your personal “sweet spot” that offers you relief.
- Consult your pharmacist or doctor prior to use. Interactions can occur between CBD and certain medications, such as antihistamines and diabetes-related drugs. Please do your due diligence to make sure CBD is suitable for your health status.
- Purchase a trial CBD oil. At Baked Goods, we understand that cost shouldn’t be a factor in considering CBD – this is why we offer a trial version of our 500mg coconut oil for a low price! It comes in a 15mL bottle, so there’s enough oil to try without wasting any product.
FYI: If you’re taking CBD for the first time, it should NOT be your sole method of treatment for health issues. When combined with other health interventions and a beneficial diet/exercise regime, CBD can potentially offer health enhancements.
If you’re interested in taking cannabidiol through other delivery methods, we also have sublingual oils, candies, bath bombs, and granola bars! In fact, you might want to check out “Top healthy ingredients in our Baked Goods granola bars” – click here to read it.
