COMING SOON: Barked Goods Pet CBD Oil for Large and Giant Dog Breeds

From German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers to Saint Bernards and Great Danes, large and extra-large dog breeds come with a zest of life! But due to their bulky weights, some pet owners have concerns about dosing pet CBD oil. Here’s some good news – we’re releasing a Barked Goods dog CBD oil for these gentle giants!

What’s new with Barked Goods

Larger dog breeds face unique wellness challenges, like stiff joints, hip pain, stress, and slower recovery times – this is when our latest Barked Goods CBD hemp oil can kick in.

This new 750mg pet CBD oil is dosed higher than our regular 300mg to accommodate large sizes, especially dogs that weigh over 100lbs. (i.e. Mastiffs, Irish Wolfhoods, Bloodhounds, etc.). As it can provide a moderate-to-strong potency, the 60mL bottle allows for you to control the dosage easily based on your dog’s needs, weight and responses. This new size also ensures you have enough CBD oil to last through weeks and/or months of consistent use for hefty canines.

How to use Barked Goods on large dog breeds

As we explained, some pet owners are not aware of dosing hemp CBD for big breeds. We conveniently have this written on the label of our 750mg Barked Goods with starter doses. For example:

• 50-75lbs: 5-10 drops
• Over 75lbs: 10-15 drops

After giving your dog the starter dose, wait one hour to monitor behavior. If your dog is still in pain or displaying anxiety, you can administer a reasonable number of additional drops (i.e. 5 more). The whole point is to find your dog’s CBD ‘sweet spot’ – the number of drops that can provide relief for its unique circumstances. This is important to note, as excessive CBD amounts in your dog can potentially cause drowsiness or diarrhea.
