Why consider CBD for your wellness goals
If your New Year goals involve wellness changes, have you thought about adding CBD to your health regime?
Along with having anti-inflammatory properties, Cannabidiol (CBD) may promote antioxidant effects. What this means is that it has the potential to help protect the body against free radicals.
Free radicals are compounds that can harm your body in excessive amounts. You can become exposed to them through environmental exposures, such as cigarette smoke and UV rays. In fact, scientifical journals explain that free radicals are connected to the formation of several health concerns, such as premature aging, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and heart disease.
Antioxidants can help neutralize free radicals, while fostering the prevention or delay of cell damage. When added to a healthy diet and exercise, CBD can help promote antioxidative effects, and may even improve skin damages brought on by pollutants.
If it’s your first time trying CBD, we recommend the trial version of our Baked Goods CBD coconut oil, which comes in a 15mL bottle for you to “test drive”. Add five drops under the tongue after a meal or snack. CBD can be taken daily as a dietary supplement, but please get clearance from your doctor to ensure it won’t interact with current medications.
