How to use CBD bath bombs

At Baked Goods, not only do we create artisanal edibles, we also craft CBD bath bombs!

CBD can promote many beneficial effects when taken as a dietary supplement. When used topically in a bath format, cannabidiol could continue to reduce pain and improve skin quality.

The advantages of using CBD bath bombs may include the following:

  • May reduce body acne: If you struggle with acne on your back, bathing with a CBD bath bomb could offer relief. CBD is naturally anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, and might reduce swelling when used in a bath format.
  • Could be a stress reduction tool: According to the Iranian Journal of Nursing and Midwifery Research, “Stress, anxiety, and postpartum depression are the most common problems among women in their childbearing age. Research has shown that aromatherapy administered during labor reduces anxiety in mothers.”Thus, particular aromatherapy ingredients, such as lavender, could promote relaxation. In fact, lavender – when used as a scent – has demonstrated calming properties in lab studies.
  • Could contribute to softening skin: Citric acid is found in CBD bath bombs to make that amusing fizziness! But it’s also beneficial for your skin because it acts as a natural exfoliant with brightening effects.

The Baked Goods makers craft bath bombs with nourishing ingredients, such as citric acid, hemp CBD, almond oil, coconut oil, and various essential oils. (And if you’re wondering, yes, we carry lavender bath bombs!) All you need to do is this: run a warm bath; throw the bath bomb in when the tub is full; wait for the bath bomb to fizzle; and get in!
